The Process
Four steps to a strong query
We read every query addressed to the right agent. Following these steps gives your project its best chance.

Find your agent
Find the agent whose interests best match your project. Each agent reads their own queries; please approach one agent at a time.

Review the wishlist
Review the agent's wishlist and what they are not seeking. A well-targeted query is read with far more attention.

Prepare your materials
A one-sentence pitch, a query letter, a synopsis of one to two pages, a short author biography, and your manuscript as PDF, DOC or DOCX.

Submit your project
Complete the form below. You will see a confirmation on screen once your query has been recorded.
